If you are unable to save your eFileScanner settings, perform the following steps:
1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\eFileCabinet 5\
2. Right click on Client, then select Properties.
3. In the Security tab, select "Edit", then "Add".
4. Type "Everyone" in the text box, select OK, then check the box next to Full Control, then select OK in the windows that follow.
Following this, go to eFileScanner and attempt to save your settings. They should remain after closing and reopening the program.
